I am unsure of the exact year, but one day between 2000 and 2002, every living and breathing woman with nails had to have a French tip manicure. The nail artists would charge extra, after all, the Frenchies were the first nail design using more than one color of lacquer and each manicure had developed their own perfect technique to draw the most flawless, chic, and thin white tip. Oh, yes, there were no colored Frenchies. In the old days, it was always white tip, lightly shimmering base, and milky white on top. Anyway, those days are history and today French tips are considered a simple design, after all, it’s nothing more than coloring the tip of the nail, right?
